A cargo aircraft with a Ukrainian satellite departs from Boryspil Airport

Today at 11:27, Turkish Airlines cargo freighter carrying Ukrainian spacecraft SICH-2-30 took off from Boryspil International Airport.
The satellite was developed and manufactured by “Yuzhnoye State Design Office”.
 
The Airport personnel assisted with the handling procedures for such special cargo and provided its fast transportation from Cargo Terminal to the aircraft hold.
The flight departed from Boryspil to Budapest and shall arrive to its final destination on December 12, which is Miami International Airport. Upon customs clearance, it will be delivered to the Kennedy Space Center for launch preparations and docking with SpaceX’s Falcon 9 launch vehicle.

The launch of the Ukrainian satellite for earth sounding from space is scheduled for January 10, 2022.
