Andriy Lakiziuk

Operator of the fuel and lubricants Department.

He was born on February 13, 1985.  Andriy  worked for Boryspil Airport for 12 years.

In July 2023, Andriy was mobilised to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and he bravely defended his homeland.

His coworkers remember Andriy as ‘kind, sincere, friendly, hardworking and very responsible. It is difficult to find words of consolation, it is impossible to heal the pain and bitterness of the painful loss. May the good, bright memory of the fallen defender become stronger than death and remain forever in the memory of his family, friends, comrades-in-arms and all those who knew, loved and respected him.’

He died on  December 1, 2023, at the age of 38, defending Ukraine while performing a combat mission  in Zaporizhzhia region.
