COVID-19 PCR and EXPRESS testing at Boryspil International Airport

In the public area of Boryspil International Airport, on the 2nd floor of Terminal D, there is a COVID-19 PCR and rapid testing biomaterial sampling point.

The biomaterial sampling is done by professionals from the Boryspil International Airport Medical Center, and is processed by medical laboratories New Diagnostics, Median, Omega-Kyiv, Art-Medium, ADONIS, Esculab, MedLab, IMMD, Healthy Lab, UNIVERSUM.CLINIC, Unimed, Rumed-T, Nikolab.

The price is determined by each laboratory independently:

PCR test – UAH 555 to 950;
express test for SARS-CoV-2 antigen – UAH 415 to 650.

Certificates are issued in Ukrainian and English.

Biomaterial sampling point is open 24/7.

Anyone can take the PCR and rapid test for COVID-19 at the Airport. The service will be of benefit to passengers arriving to Ukraine and do not want to stay self-isolated, as well as those who plan to travel in the near future.

How long does it take to get a result?

The PCR results will be ready from 6 to 12 hours, the results of the rapid test to determine the antigen SARS-CoV-2 will be ready from 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the conditions set by the laboratory. You can clarify the information on the laboratory’s website.

What is the price of the service?

The price of the test depends on the laboratory you choose. There are currently fourteen such laboratories at Boryspil Airport.

Who needs self-isolation? How to terminate it?

Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine № 787 dated July 28, 2021 amended restrictive anti-epidemic measures to prevent the spread of acute respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 in Ukraine.

Citizens of Ukraine returning to their homeland, as well as foreigners or stateless persons who have arrived in Ukraine, need to undergo self-isolation.

Self-isolation is not required or can be terminated in the event of a negative COVID test (by PCR or rapid testing), except for those who arrived from Russia or India.

Self-isolation is also not required for:

foreigners with an insurance and a document confirming full vaccination;
foreigners under 18 and other categories of foreigners defined by a government decree;
citizens of Ukraine having a certificate of full vaccination, or a document issued in the manner prescribed by the Ministry of Health, confirming receipt of one dose of vaccine;
citizens of Ukraine under 18.
