Dmytro Kononets

An engineer,  a vehicle repair shop.

He was born on April 21, 1996.

Dmytro worked at Boryspil Airport for more than 4 years and is remembered by his colleagues as a persistent and competent specialist: “Dmytro Kononets was always respected, because his contribution was always invaluable. He was proactive, he organized complex  and difficult repairs and took a personal part in them. When something was to be repaired urgently on  the apron, Dmytro was always the first to lend a helping hand. We often recall his golden hands, because they helped in the repair of special purpose vehicles and ordinary cars. His professionalism and dedication will remain in the memory of each of us.”

He died on May 17, 2022, at the age of 26, during a missile attack by the aggressor country in the Chernihiv region.

Dmytro Kononets was buried in the Heroes’ Alley in the village of Ivankiv, paying his respects.
