How to get a permission at the Borispol airport for:
- photo and video shooting
- organization of the meetings
- conducting an interview
- getting a comment
The procedure and your actions for obtaining admission or permits (passes) depend on the area in which the above activities will be held.
Terminal D, free access zones (before passport control):
Send a request letter addressed to Oleksiy Dubrevskyy, Director General of Boryspil IA SE to [email protected] in advance – at least 1 working day before the required date of filming. The letter must meet the requirements of correspondence procedures established standards: must be written on the corporate letterhead, with the outgoing number, date, signed and sealed.
In the letter it should be indicated:
- name of the media;
- purpose and topic of the planned meeting / shooting;
- date, time and place of the meeting / shooting;
- name of media representatives who will participate in the meeting / shooting;
- name and phone number of the person responsible for meeting / shooting.
Terminal D, security zone (after passport control): gallery, apron, runway, aircraft, other in security zone:
1. Send a request letter addressed to Oleksiy Dubrevskyy, Director General of Boryspil IA SE to [email protected] in advance – at least 5 working days before the required date of filming. The letter must meet the requirements of correspondence procedures established standards: must be written on the corporate letterhead, with the outgoing number, date, signed and sealed.
In the letter it should be indicated:
- name of the media;
- purpose and topic of the planned meeting / shooting;
- date, time and place of the meeting / shooting (airport terminals, apron, runway, other in the security zone);
- name of the media representatives who will participate in the meeting / filming.
IMPORTANT: replacement of the participants is not possible on the day of the meeting / shooting – documents for obtaining passes are submitted and executed at least for 5 (five) days.
- name and phone number of the person responsible for meeting / shooting;
- scanned copies of the 1st, 2nd page and pages with the place of current registration of Ukrainian passports of all participants / film crew (ID-passport: scanned copy of both sides and a certificate indicating the registration of the place of residence).
2. !!! Send similar letters beforehand (at least 5 working days before the required date of the meeting / shooting) to the following authorities:
- address to the Head of Independent Identity Checkpoint Kyiv
- addressed to the Acting Head of the Kyiv Customs Service

- addressed to the Head of the SSU at Boryspil airport

IMPORTANT: Kyiv Separete Border Crossing Point, Kyiv Customs of the SCS, SSU are mandatory authorities that endorse your admission / non-admission to the security zones of the Boryspil IA SE.
3. Pick up letters signed by the above authorities with a resolution authorizing the meeting / shooting (originals). Bring them with you for a pass.
4. If the meeting / shooting is carried out nearby or on board the aircraft, its possibility is to be separately, in advance and in writing agreed with the press service of the airline.
5. Media representatives may go to any of the regime zones of the state enterprise MA Boryspil only accompanied by representatives of the airport, airline or a handling company.
