Boryspil airport approved infrastructure changes and completion of parking

10 June 2017

On June 7, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the financial plan for development of the Boryspil International Aircraft Company in 2017. Planned calculations envisage the allocation of UAH 851 million for a number of infrastructure changes aimed at increasing the passenger flow of the airport. It is planned to complete the multi-level parking of the terminal D, expand the transfer zone, create additional bus exits to the platform, and others.

Finplan Boryspil airport also provides for an increase in profits and deductions to the State Budget in 2017, correspondingly to UAH 3.9 billion and UAH 1.8 billion. When taking into account the new airport tariff policy, profitability indicators will require a revision. “The development plan approved by the government, which gives us the opportunity to finance the necessary capital investments. When adjusting the Finplan in 2017 and developing the Finplan in 2018, the airport will proceed from the new tariff policy, which provides for a reduction in income due to lower rates of aviation charges, “said Pavlo Ryabikin, general director of the Boryspil airport.

Recall that in 2017, the State Enterprise “Boryspil” plans to increase passenger traffic to 10 million passengers. The corresponding expectations are due to the successful implementation of the airport as an air hub, an increase in the transfer passenger flow to 30%, and the use of incentive programs for airlines. The Boryspil airport provides a number of infrastructure changes to expand the capacity of terminal D and provide the necessary services for an increasing number of passengers.
