Anniversary of Establishment of 15th Transport Aviation Brigade n.a. the Aircraft Constructor Oleh Antonov

Today is a special day for Boryspil military aviation. As this day,  the 15th   Transport Aviation Brigade n.a. the aircraft constructor Oleh Antonov, celebrates its anniversary.

This brigade has a long and glorious history. It was created on the basis of the 1st Separate Transport Aviation Regiment, which in 90`s became the successor of the 225th Separate Composite Squadron.

The aviation fleet of the brigade comprises An-24, An-26, An-30, Tu-134 aircraft and Mi-8 MT and MSB-v helicopters.

Brigade military personnel has a vast service experience. Since the first day of the war conflict on the East of Ukraine, brigade took an active part in the ATO Operations. Brigade personnel also includes UN peacekeepers to Democratic Republic of the Congo and Kosovo.
