14 June 2019

On June 19, 2019, at 11:00 with the participation of the Boryspil International Airport, an extended meeting of the Aviation Committee will take place at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine.

The meeting will discuss the current status, challenges and prospects of the high tourist season. As follows: volumes of charter transportations comfort of air travel, reasons of delays of flights, areas of responsibility of service companies, etc.

“With an increase in passenger traffic, the pressure on infrastructure, personnel and aviation security is increasing. Thus, the daily passenger traffic at Boryspil airport on June 2 amounted to 51 853 passengers, and on June 9 it increased to 52 362. The average passenger’s time at the terminal is 2,5 hours, but when there is a flight delay the load on the infrastructure increases and comfort for passengers decreases”, – Yevhenii Dykhne,  the Boryspil International Airport first deputy director general and chairman of the Aviation Committee at the CCIU, commented about this year’s tourist season.

The meeting invited participants: the largest tour operators of Ukraine, Ukrainian airlines, Ukrainian airports, handling companies, State Aviation Service of Ukraine, Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine.
