Boryspil Airport Dedicates a New Art Gallery to the Holiday of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin

On 12 October evening Boryspil International Airport prepared a double cultural surprise for its passengers.
On occasion of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin and the Defender of the Motherland Day airtravellers were amused with the artistic evening. Terminal D became overfilled with the harmonious sound of bandura by G. Maiboroda National Bandura Players Chapel.

In the very middle of the third floor, a new exhibition of the National Pride Gallery was waiting for the connoisseurs of pictural art. Jointly with the “Artania” Foundation, the Terminal D guests could enjoy the works by the Peoples artist of Ukraine – Danyl Antoniuk. The artists` creations are of high symbolic value, aiming at the traditions of folk art, interpreting historical events and are inspired by the Ukrainian legends and myths.
Each participant of the cultural fest had an opportunity to get acquainted with the artistic masterpieces and get inspired with the songs about bravery, dignity and patriotism since the Cossacks epoch till nowadays.
