Boryspil Airport is profitable again

May 2021 results for Boryspil International Airport in profit amounting to UAH 40 million.
As reported by the Head of the Boryspil International Airport Supervisory Board Volodymyr Zhmak, informs the Airport Press Center.
Boryspil International Airport profit recovery is a positive message to the whole industry. Implementation of the Anti-crisis Program of the Airport provided the reduction of costs, while increasing the revenue, therefore, recovering the profitability of the Airport, commented Mr. Zhmak.
He also noted that Airport is intensifying its efforts in attracting new air carriers. Those carriers that operated at the Airport before the crisis, resume their operation and increase the number of flights. Moreover, in 2021, we attract new carriers. In particular, Cyprys Airways launched scheduled flights this May, Saudi Arabia low cost airline Flynas performed its first flight in June, we are waiting for Eurowings, Wizzair Abu Dhabi and a few other carriers, added the Head of the Supervisory Board.
Let us remind you that according to the АСІ Europe Report (Airport Council International), in 2021 according to the passenger flow Boryspil Airport reached top 15 of the largest European airports, overperforming the airports of Rome, Lisbon, Athens, Munich, Barcelona, Brussels, Stockholm, Vienna, Zurich, Milan and Warsaw.
