30 May 2020

According to the loan Agreement dated May 14, 2020, the country’s largest airport Boryspil International Airport receives a loan of $ 10 million from Alfa-Bank Ukraine. The first tranche has already been transferred to the company’s account.

The aviation industry was hit hardest by quarantine, and Boryspil International Airport was forced to seek additional funding to support its activities. As a reliable financial partner, Alfa-Bank Ukraine supports the country’s economic recovery in difficult quarantine conditions and has entered into a $ 10 million loan Agreement with Boryspil Airport.

“The company’s revenues fell by more than 90%, and we were forced to seek help from the state and financial partners. Alfa-Bank Ukraine is a commercial bank that has supported us with credit funds. Thank to this support, we will be able to gradually resume our activities.” – Pavlo Ryabikin, General Director of Boryspil International Airport, emphasized.

“We understand how important it is in these conditions to support the activities and smooth exit from the forced downtime of the main air gates of the country. We are helping to revive the airline industry, which has suffered the most from quarantine restrictions and needs financial support more than ever. That is why we are glad to provide our resources and become a reliable financial partner for Boryspil International Airport and other airports of Ukraine.” – said Oleksandr Lukanov, President and Member of the Management Board of Alfa-Bank Ukraine.
