BORYSPIL ASSESES THE PUNCTUALITY OF AIR LINES FOR THE FIRST HALF OF 2017

Boryspil Airport continues the analysis of air carriers operation quality and offers the punctuality rating for the period from 1 January till 30 June 2017. It is noteworthy, that airlines greatly improved their results, enhancing the regularity of scheduled departures comparing with the previous year performace.
During the first half of the current year, flights with regularity amounting to more than 90% were provided by: Czech Airlines, Belavia, Aegean and Georgian Airlines. The “golden middle” with punctuality from 70% to 90% consists of: Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa, Windrose Airlines, Air Arabiа, AirBaltic, Ukrainian International Airlines, Air France, Azur Air Ukraine, Anda Air, Azerbaijan Airlines, Dniproavia, KLM, Turkish Airlines, British Airways, Ellin Air, Atlasjet Ukraine, LOT, UM Air and Bravo Airways.
El Al is an airline that operated less than 70% of flights. Boryspil Airport CEO Pavlo Riabikin noted that regular analysis of scheduled departures is a vital part of the Airport service policy. “The analysis of collaborating with Boryspil Airport airlines punctuality enables us for more efficient cooperation. Within the enhancement of the passenger flow and the number of flights via the aviation hub, Boryspil Airport being the latter, the respective risks rise and we have to keep an eye on our air traffic.”, noticed Pavlo Riabikin.
To recall, in the first half of 2017, Boryspil International Airport serviced 4,74 million passengers and assured the planned increase of passenger flow by 30%. For 6 months the part of transfer passengers increased by 37% to 1,3 million people, while the number of flights from 33 thousand (6 months of 2016) to almost 41 thousand flights. The planned infrastructural projects in aviation hub expansion enabled Boryspil Airport to increase the part of international flights by 22% in half a year.
