Boryspil International Airport is attracting Japanese expertise to modernise its infrastructure after the war

Ukraine’s Boryspil International Airport is opening up new prospects through strategic cooperation with Nippon Koei Co. Ltd, a leading Japanese engineering and consulting company.
During the meeting, Nippon Koei representatives and management of Boryspil airport discussed the potential opportunities for comprehensive upgrading of the airport’s infrastructure after the war and the attraction of Japanese investments for this purpose.
“Boryspil Airport plays a key role for Ukraine.
Our goal is to ensure the sustainability and steady improvement of the airport’s infrastructure and its competitiveness, which are prerequisites for the economic development and investment attractiveness of the country,” said Oleksiy Dubrevskyy, Boryspil CEO.The partners discussed possible options for cooperation for further updating of the airport in the post-war period and priority areas of development, and provided their proposals based on their own international experience in implementing large-scale projects for the most efficient and rapid resumption of airport operations.
