Boryspil International Airport and the Civil Aviation Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan signed a bilateral memorandum of cooperation

On June 10, 2024, during the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2024) in Berlin, under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, Boryspil Airport signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Civil Aviation Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan (Civil Aviation Bureau, MLIT.)This agreement provides for the application of Japanese experience for the reconstruction and comprehensive modernisation of the airport in the post-war period. The parties plan to share professional experience, conduct analyses, consultations and practical developments in order to maintain the airport’s competitiveness, etc. Experts from both countries are going to discuss the details of the development projects and identify the best ways to implement them, which will contribute to the sustainable development of Boryspil Airport and civil aviation in Ukraine.

As a reminder, on the eve of URC-2024, a Japanese-Ukrainian round table was held in Berlin with the participation of public and private structures. During the event, it was announced that 23 memorandа of cooperation were signed between Ukrainian and Japanese organizations.
