Boryspil International Airport deepens cooperation with Nippon Koei

On 9 October 2024, representatives of Nippon Koei, a Japanese engineering and consulting company that provides comprehensive technological services, paid a working visit to Boryspil International Airport. The purpose of the visit was to discuss the investment projects of Boryspil Airport, as they were assigned the prority status to projects under the resolution of the Strategic Investment Council of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 10 September 2024. The main topic of the meeting was the adoption of the Unified Portfolio of Public Investment Projects and the formation of a list of priority projects for financing in 2025. It should be noted that a total of 750 project concepts were submitted to the portfolio, among which restoration projects, including infrastructure projects at Boryspil Airport were given the priority status. Due to assigning such status, the talks with Nippon Koei reached a new, more practical level of discussion on specific projects.
“Entering the list of priority projects will allow the most transparent and effective cooperation with our partners and attract foreign investment. Such cooperation is very important for the further restoration of Ukraine and in particular for the development and modernization of the aviation industry, “said Oleksiy Dubrevskyy, CEO of Boryspil Airport.
During the meeting with the representatives of Nippon Koei, the detailed steps towards the implementation of the airport projects were discussed. The partners shared their vision of the concept of post-war modernisation of the airport infrastructure as well as attracting investments for its implementation.
