Boryspil International Airport Hosts International Training for Canine Inspectors

Boryspil International Airport hosted the practical phase of an international training programme for canine inspectors of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, delivered with the participation of an expert from the French National Police.

Over several days, participants enhanced their practical skills in the deployment of service dogs within the operational environment of an international airport. The programme covered modern training techniques, procedures for detecting hazardous substances, and professional knowledge exchange with a representative of the National Training Centre for Canine Units of the French National Police.

The practical nature of the programme enabled participants to apply newly acquired knowledge in conditions closely resembling real operational scenarios. This approach contributes to the development of professional competencies within canine units, enhances their operational effectiveness, and supports the implementation of international best practices in aviation security.

Boryspil International Airport has repeatedly served as a venue for similar international training initiatives. Cooperation with French partners has been ongoing for several years and represents an excellent example of effective international collaboration aimed at strengthening the professional capabilities of Ukrainian specialists, promoting the exchange of practical expertise, and implementing globally recognised standards in aviation security.

Upon completion of the programme, all participants successfully finished the course and received certificates.
