Boryspil International Airport is improving skills of its ground handling staff

In March 2023, a training course for 350 ground handling employees of Boryspil International Airport started. The main purpose of this course is personnel skill upgrading and improvement in order to provide flight safety, perfect passenger handling and aircraft maintenance in the following areas: rules and regulations for vehicle movement on the apron, baggage handling, aircraft maintenance, control of driving to/from aircraft.

Staff vocational training is one of the most essential aspects of personnel development, ensuring flight safety and passenger security.

Employee training for ground handling is a lengthy process, it is crucial to constantly improve staff vocational achievements, being even of greater importance in case of airport limited operation. Theoretical classes followed by practical training are being conducted for employees as well, including operation of ground handling equipment, which is used for aircraft maintenance.
