Boryspil International Airport and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA): A new stage of strategic partnership

On July 24, Boryspil International Airport welcomed a delegation from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), led by Senior Vice President Kenichi Kawamura. During the meeting, the parties discussed joint steps to modernize infrastructure as part of post-war recovery efforts — from energy solutions and digital systems to flight safety. Particular attention was given to the potential for showcasing Japanese technologies at Boryspil and the creation of a technical working group.We express our gratitude to the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine for supporting the organization of the visit and fostering this partnership with the Japanese side.

Together with JICA, we are forming a model for the sustainable recovery of Ukrainian aviation — modern, energy-efficient, and safe.
