Boryspil International Airport and Mastercard sign a Memorandum of Cooperation

On March 19, 2024, Boryspil International Airport and Mastercard, a global technology company, signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation. The Memorandum aims to expand and strengthen the partnership between the two entities to create conditions for the development and provision of high-quality services for airport passengers.
The Memorandum outlines long-term cooperation goals between Boryspil Airport and Mastercard, focusing on improving passenger services to meet modern standards, implementing digital processes to create a seamless travel experience tailored to the needs of contemporary travelers, and introducing new services for passengers.During a visit to the airport, Mastercard representatives acquainted themselves with its current state and held discussions with airport management about future projects. Once flight operations resume in Ukraine, as soon as the security situation allows, both parties also plan to enhance their collaboration by introducing inclusive solutions at the airport, such as special lines for veterans and individuals with disabilities, as well as other amenities in line with the best practices for creating barrier-free spaces.

The signed memorandum and further cooperation will not only contribute to Boryspil Airport’s status as a safe and technologically advanced facility but will also reinforce our position as a leading provider of top-level passenger services, ensuring competitiveness in the aviation transport market,” noted Oleksiy Dubrevsky, CEO of Boryspil International Airport.Mastercard has been a long-standing partner of Boryspil Airport, collaborating on numerous joint initiatives aimed at enhancing the passenger experience at the airport. These include the services like Fast Line, a dedicated corridor for aviation security and passport control, as well as the creation of comfortable and barrier-free waiting areas and business lounges, among others.
