Boryspil International Airport summarized the results of employee training in the 1st quarter of 2026

In the 1st quarter of 2026 training centers of Boryspil International Airport conducted training, refresh training and upgrade retraining for 526 specialists of the Ukrainian aviation industry, including 439 employees of Boryspil International Airport and 87 employees of third-party organizations (e.g. Official Delegations Hall SE, Chernivtsi Regional Center for Hydrometeorology of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, ART-COMFORT LLC, SKYUP Airlines LLC, UKRAVIA Airline LLC and others).

Among the key topics of the courses at the training center for ground handling personnel were the rules of transportation of dangerous goods by air, passenger service, training drivers to be certified to an airside driving permit (ADP) category, aircraft de-/anti-icing, and others. After passing successfully the courses tests, all participants received standard certificates.
The ICAO Aviation Security Training Center of Boryspil International Airport conducted 33 training courses, which is twice the planned figure. They include the following: initial training in the basics of aviation security, Course for the Personnel Performing Patrolling and Guarding of Civil Aviation Facilities, Course for the Personnel Performing Patrolling and Providing Access Control, AVSEC Screening Passengers and Baggage, Air Cargo and Mail Security, and others.
It is worth specially noting the international, that is at the request of the OSCE Secretariat, on January 26 to 30, 2026, specialists of the Training Center conducted the «National Instructors» course in Chisinau for representatives of the internal affairs bodies of the Republic of Moldova and the staff of the Chisinau International Airport. The program combined theoretical training with practical modules, including real-world case analysis, group exercises, and practicing instructional skills. Theoretical and practical training and testing of 550 aviation security personnel based on CASRA computer simulators and X-RAY TUTOR 5 training program is also in process.
The development of educational programs and training of specialists is an important contribution to the restoration and further development of the aviation industry of Ukraine. Boryspil International Airport will continue to focus on improving the qualifications of personnel and implementing the best international practices.
