Boryspil International Airport summarized the results of the training of aviation specialists in 2025

More than 2,400 aviation industry specialists were trained and coached at Boryspil International Airport training centres during 2025. These included 2,059 Boryspil Airport employees and 395 employees of third-party organisations. Aviation industry employees completed vocational training, initial and refresher training at twotraining centres at Boryspil Airport: the ICAO Aviation Security Training Centre and the Ground Handling Personnel Training Centre
The ICAO Aviation Security Training Centre conducted 125 training courses (against 80 courses scheduled in the annual training plan). and in April 2025, under the auspices of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), a practical training workshop on crisis management was held, which aimed to develop a systematic approach to crisis management in aviation security. Moreover, throughout the year, 550 aviation security employees were trained, coached and assessed under the CASRA computer-based training programme and the X-RAY TUTOR 5 training programme.
In 2025, 915 airport employees passed courses in 12 main areas at the training centre for ground handling personnel, such as: flight safety management system, regulations for the transportation of dangerous goods by air, operating vehicles for ground transportation of crews, passengers, baggage, cargo and mail, etc.

In addition to their professional training, airport employees improved their skills in other important fields throughout 2025. Training sessions were held to raise employee awareness of the latest methods of protecting personal and corporate account data, more than 200 employees gained the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills of fire safety, and approximately 400 employees attended training sessions to raise awareness of issues in the field of ethics and integrity, the prevention of corruption, and the implementation of internal controls to ensure compliance with anti-corruption legislation.
Sustained efforts to train and develop personnel in 2025 confirm that Boryspil International Airport maintains and supports its human resources in line with international standards. The airport’s training centres remain an important element in supporting the professional readiness of Ukraine’s aviation industry and form the basis for the safe, efficient and rapid resumption of full civil aviation operations after the end of the war.
