Boryspil International Airport has taught about 1,500 aviation security specialists in 2022

The International Civil Aviation Organization training center of Boryspil International Airport conducted 119 training courses on aviation security and retrained about 1,500 specialists in 2022.

A cycle of specialized courses on the topics «Passenger and Baggage Security Control», «Initial Training in the Basics of Aviation Security», «Aviation Security Management», «Refresher training for the Personnel Performing Patrolling and Guarding of Civil Aviation Facilities», «AVSEC Supervisors Training» and others – were adapted by the specialists of the ICAO training center of Boryspil International Airport to the current changes in the international regulatory framework. All changes and additions to training programs are approved by the authorized civil aviation authority and approved by the Head of the State Aviation Service of Ukraine.


Specialists of the «Boryspil» ICAO training center also developed projects of new editions of the training programs «Guarding of aircrafts, important objects and providing access control to them» and «Aviation security management». In addition, proposals for amendments and additions to the national training programs «Basic training for AVSEC personnel» and «Initial training on the basics of Aviation Security» were worked out and sent to the Management of the aviation security system of the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine.

The ICAO training center of Boryspil International Airport continued training in online and offline formats and 156 airport aviation security specialists have already completed it in January 2023.
