Dear passengers. We draw your attention that the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, which defines temporary restrictions on travel to Ukraine of foreigners and stateless persons, has been amended
10 September 2020
In particular, the list of exceptions for foreigners who are not banned from entering Ukraine, has been revised. These rules are listed at: https://is.gd/TRGBWs
✔ Thus, the paragraph referring to persons who have family connections with citizens of Ukraine says that exceptions to the ban include persons who are one of the spouses, parents, children, grandparents of a citizen of Ukraine. Please consider that according to the law, a person has the legal status of a child until he or she reaches the age of majority.
✔ The border crossing of persons going to Ukraine with educational purpose is also detailed. In fact, the relevant paragraph is supplemented by a clarification that these should be institutions of higher education.
✔ At the same time, in accordance with the changes, the possibility of entry into Ukraine for transit foreign passengers is abolished. If the passenger is not a citizen of Ukraine, but has a single transfer ticket with a departure date within one day (24 hours) and does not cross the border of Ukraine, the passenger may make such a flight.
✔ The above temporary restrictions do not apply to citizens of Ukraine.
Boryspil International Airport asks passengers to take this information into account when planning trips to Ukraine and to treat these temporary quarantine measures with understanding.
All questions regarding crossing the state border of Ukraine should be addressed to the State Border Service of Ukraine. https://dpsu.gov.ua/ua/sluzhba-dovira/
