The Government introduces a ban on air transportation between Ukraine and the Republic of Belarus

Source: the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine, upon the resolution of the Government of Ukraine, published NOTAM.

“According to the resolution of the Government of Ukraine, all Ukrainian operators and aircrafts registered in Ukraine are prohibited from performing any types of flights in the airspace of the Republic of Belarus.

Any type of flights by aircraft operators of the Republic of Belarus and aircrafts registered in the Republic of Belarus, aircraft operators of Ukraine and aircrafts registered in Ukraine, from the point of departure to the destination, located in the territory of Ukraine, are banned.” – the document stipulates.

The relevant resolution shall take effect from 00:00 on May 26, 2021.

Please be reminded that it is not the airport who takes the decision to cancel flights – it is to be made by the airline. Therefore, please consider possible changes in the flight schedule.
