Government tightens entry conditions in Ukraine to further prevent the spread of COVID-19

In order to prevent the spread of acute respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 in Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on March 22, 2021 approved Resolution № 230 which amended the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution of December 9, 2020 № 1236.
For foreign citizens
Starting from today, crossing the border of Ukraine requires 2 documents:
-mandatory insurance
– negative COVID-19 PCR test made not later than 72 hours before crossing the state border of Ukraine.
For Ukrainian citizens
All Ukrainian citizens arriving from foreign countries are subject to 14 days self isolation. Except for the passengers with negative COVID-19 PCR test taken in a foreign country not later than 48 hours before arriving to Ukraine. Also, please note that you can suspend self isolation taking PCR test after arriving to Ukraine.
Such decision is approved by the Ukrainian Government to prevent the spread of COVID-19 acute respiratory disease caused by coronavirus SARS-CoV-2.
