On January 26-30, 2026, specialists of the ICAO Aviation Security Training Center of Boryspil International Airport conducted an on-site international course National Instructors in the city of Chisinau (the Republic of Moldova) for representatives of the internal affairs bodies of the Republic of Moldova and the staff of Chisinau International Airport.

The event was organized in partnership with the Secretariat of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and held under the standards and requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) according to the approved course program.

The program of the 5-day training course combined theoretical training and practical modules, including analysis of real cases, practicing in groups on different scenarios, individual exams and practicing instructor skills. The main focus was made on the formation of a national system for AVSEC instructors training and increasing the institutional capacity of the relevant departments.

«For our Training Center, this event is not a mere educational project, this is the export of Ukrainian expertise in the field of aviation security and a contribution to strengthening sustainability in the region. Even in the wartime, Ukraine remains an active participant in international professional cooperation», — noted Iryna Safarova, the director of the ICAO Aviation Security Training Center of Boryspil International Airport.

Following the course, the partners confirmed their interest in continuing cooperation and developing joint training initiatives.

The implementation of this project emphasizes the role of Boryspil International Airport as one of the few aviation security training centers operating in the region in wartime conditions and demonstrates Ukraine’s readiness to share practical experience in building modern security systems in accordance with international standards.
