The ICAO AVSEC Training Center of Boryspil International Airport held an International Course for Aviation Security Inspectors in Moldova

The ICAO Aviation Security Training Center of Boryspil International Airport continues to develop international cooperation in the field of aviation Security training.
In May 25 – June 2, 2026, the Centre’s instructors conducted the ICAO course National Aviation Security Inspectors in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, for employees of the General Inspectorate of Border Police and the Security Department of Chisinau International Airport. The training was organized in partnership with the Secretariat of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).

The course program was aimed at training experts of state surveys in aviation security and covered issues of conducting inspections, audits, assessment of compliance with ICAO Annex 17 standards, as well as the development of national quality control systems in aviation security.
During the training, the participants acquired both theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for the effective implementation of state surveys, conducting audits and introducing measures in order to increase the level of protection of civil aviation in accordance with international standards.
An important component of the program was its practical part, which enables the trainees to apply the knowledge acquired in situations as close as possible to the real work of aviation security inspectors, and to practice the skills of conducting inspections and assessing the AVSEC effectiveness.
All participants passed successfully written and practical exams and received ICAO AVSEC National Inspector certificates.
The realization of this initiative became another example of the international activity of the ICAO Aviation Security Training Center of Boryspil International Airport in training experts under international standards.
Despite the temporary closure of Ukrainian airspace, the Center continues to promote the development of professional competencies of the aviation community and effectuation of ICAO international standards in the field of aviation security.
Cooperation with the OSCE and the aviation authorities of the Republic of Moldova is evidence of an effective international partnership focused on strengthening regional security, developing professional competencies and increasing the sustainability of civil aviation systems in accordance with the best global practices.
