Bundeswehr Medical Mission Airbus A310 MedEvac at KBP

A special aircraft was handled at Boryspil International Airport on 6 October.

Airbus A310 is one of the laborers of German Air Forces. MedEvac air transport version is an important element of the Bundeswehr rescue operations as it performs long distance transporting of the injured. Medical care procedures can be performed enroute. Next to the six patients of intense therapy it can carry 38 bed-bound patients. The aircraft is equipped with artificial respirating units, HCU units and defibrillators.

This aircraft lands at Boryspil Airport for the tenth time to transport injured Ukrainian soldiers for treatment to Germany. 13 military members were taken to Bundeswehr hospitals.

The Airport wishes our defenders to win the battle for their health and return to the homeland.
