Boryspil International Airport ICAO AVSEC Training Center provides online training of aviation security personnel

ICAO AVSEC Training Center of Boryspil International Airport announced online aviation security training in accordance with established national and international standards.
“Two training programs for personnel – “Initial training in aviation security” and “Requalification of personnel patrolling and guarding civil aviation facilities” – will take place in early June. These programs are developed taking into account the requirements of national legislation and approved by the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine. Real time online learning will allow to train those who are now distanced from the educational facilities of our training center though have the internet access and a PC, “- said Iryna Safarova, Acting Director of the ICAO Training Center of Boryspil International Airport.
The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) is a specialized agency of the United Nations that establishes international standards for civil aviation and coordinates its development to improve safety and efficiency. There are 35 ICAO certified training centers around the world, and two such centers are in Kyiv – at Boryspil International Airport and the National Aviation University.
In 2021, 2,899 aviation security specialists of Ukraine were trained in aviation security at the ICAO AVSEC Training Center of Boryspil International Airport. This number includes employees of Boryspil Airport and specialists from all over Ukraine, as well as other countries, such as Georgia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Lithuania.
