Ukraine Recovery Conference 2023: Presentation of the vision of recovery and renovation of Ukraine

A team of experts from The Ministry for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine took part in the work of the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2023(URC2023). This International Conference, was held in London on June 21-22, 2023. As an expert in the aviation industry, Oleksiy Dubrevskyy, Director General of Boryspil International Airport, was a member of the Ukrainian delegation, headed by Oleksandr Kubrakov, the Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine.
The URC2023 conference is an international platform for discussion of the recovery and renovation of Ukraine as a result of Russian aggression and the enormous damage and loss caused to Ukraine as a result of the Russian invasion. It is aimed to find ways for complete renovation of Ukraine, attraction of business and private capital for effective post-war reconstruction. Representatives of the largest international financial organizations, governments of the world’s leading countries, investment funds, private companies and investors are involved in URC 2023 work. Leaders and representatives of more than 60 world states, more than 400 international companies from 38 countries took part in the event.
Within the framework of the planned activities of URC 2023, Oleksiy Dubrevskyy held a number of important meetings and substantive negotiations with potential international partners – international financial organizations, investors, development agencies, which show a strong interest and readiness to implement large infrastructure projects for the reconstruction of Ukraine after the war.
Oleksiy Dubrevskyy emphasized the necessity in foreign investments attracting for improvements of safety and security as well as environmental sustainability of the aviation sector, airport infrastructure improvement and expanding , passenger traffic and tourism developing, as well as the latest technologies and innovations implementations in aviation security and passenger safety. “The strategy of quick recovery of Ukraine is being discussed at the conference. Everyone looks optimistically at the prospects of our country, with its great potential, and Boryspil International Airport also plays an important role in increasing the attractiveness of Ukraine for investors, contributing to the stable development of the aviation sector,” said O. Dubrevskyy, Director General of Boryspil Airport.
