Workshop on Crisis Management for aviation industry professionals was conducted by ICAO at Boryspil Airport

On 7-11 April 2025, ICAO Aviation Security Training Centre at Boryspil International Airport hosted a Crisis Management Workshop. The event was organized under the auspices of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and aimed at developing a systematic approach to crisis response in the field of aviation security. The workshop was attended by experts from the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine Boryspil and Lviv airports, the National Police, the Security Service of Ukraine, and UkSATSE.The training was held in the format of interactive cases typical for any airport in the world, with crisis situations modelled and optimal solutions sought. Special attention was paid to ICAO’s international approaches to risk management, coordination between services and creation of effective interagency cooperation.

For us, this is not just training, but a component of the systemic development of human capital and the industry’s readiness to respond global challenges,” Oleksiy Dubrevskyy, Boryspil International Airport CEO said.

At the end of the workshop, ICAO international certificates were awarded to all participants.
