Worldwide famous Boschung company presented the first electric cleaning vehicle at Boryspil International Airport

Within the course of the meeting at Boryspil Airport, Boschung company presented the latest aviation industry solutions, such as: runway surface condition monitoring system, which informs on the current state of the runway pavement in Global Reporting Format. This is the new format of reporting on the state of the aerodrome surface, which is to be implemented this year.
The company is also the first to deliver in Ukraine the electric cleaning vehicle – Urban Sweeper S2.0. This is the first fully electric sweeper releasing zero emission engineered by Boschung. This vehicle has the microprocessor unit, an innovative battery with 54.4 kW/h capacity in the basis of the electric car, running the vehicle on a full charge from 8 up to 10 hours. Fast charging takes 100 minutes, while normal 4-5 hours. Such electric car can replace special vehicle “Pony”, which is currently operated at the airport and will reduce the cost on fuel.
This utility machinery is versatile: it can sprinkle the roads with salt and special reagents, operate as a vacuum cleaner or a sweeper, and there is also a possibility to install a snow plough. Currently, such machines are operated in Germany and Switzerland.
During the business meeting were discussed the prospects of further cooperation and maintenance of existing vehicles, as well as the plan of updating the technical resources. Negotiations are underway to test the machine in operation.
