Oleksandr Mazur

A worker of an integrated team for Terminal complex repair and construction,  maintenance and operation Department.

He was born on  April 2, 1987.

He worked at Boryspil Airport for almost 9 years and received a commendation ‘For active work in promoting safety and improving working conditions, and for his initiative’.

On 25 February 2022, Senior Sergeant Mazur Oleksandr was called up for military service as a grenadier. Since March, he defended the Kyiv region in the Black Cossacks Brigade, which prevented the enemy from capturing the capital.

‘Oleksandr performed terminal maintenance work with high quality and diligence. Whatever work he did, regardless of its difficulty, he did it with his heart and soul,’ – his colleagues recall.

He died on  June 2, 2022, at the age of 35, defending Ukraine, in Luhansk region.

Oleksandr was posthumously awarded the Order ‘For Courage’, III class.
