You should contact your airline to know if it renders services to Unaccompanied Minors (passengers between 5 and 16 traveling with no adult escort).

The services for Unaccompanied Minors (UM) are traditionally available along the entire itinerary – from the origin airport to transit and final destination. There is an extra fee for the UM service.

In case of taking advantage of the UM service, the child`s parents or guardians must:

  • Guarantee a child holds all travel documents;
  • Not leave the airport of departure until the flight has actually taken off;
  • Make sure a child is met by an authorized person at the destination;
  • Sign the Unaccompanied Handling Advice Form;
  • Pay all related costs.
