Sergiy Onyshko

An operator, Plant Engineering.

He was born on January 9, 1986.

Serhiy worked at the enterprise for 13 years.

He was encouraged by a letter of commendations: ‘For a significant contribution to the development and stable functioning of the enterprise’.

His colleagues considered him a reliable friend. And they remember him: ‘He proved to be a qualified specialist, had a perfect knowledge of the airport’s water supply networks and equipment, performed his job duties responsibly, and was always ready to help others.’

In 2014, Sergiy was called up for military service during the mobilisation to the ATO zone as a driver. He was in hot spots where fierce fighting was taking place. He received awards from his commanders.

In 2022, he was mobilised into the Armed Forces as a sergeant.

He died at the age of 37 on January 19, 2023, in Donetsk region.
